Vancouver Island Loppet Cancelled For 2026
After assessing course conditions on Mount Washington, the Loppet organizing committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Vancouver Island Loppet. We have been monitoring conditions daily, and continued rain and warm temperatures have significantly deteriorated the course.
As outlined in the race notice, participants may choose one of the following:
1. Receive a refund of their registration fee (minus processing fees)
OR
2. Carry their registration forward as a credit toward next year’s Vancouver Island Loppet.
Please contact info@strathconanordics.com and let us know whether you would prefer a refund or a credit.
