Kick off the new season with an action-packed weekend of skiing, skill development, and team-building at Mount Washington!

Led by Head Coach Bertrand Hamoumraoui, this camp is designed for Devo (Track Attack) and Junior athletes, and is also open to new skiers looking to join SNSC’s race programs. Athletes will train at both Mount Washington and the Vancouver Island Mountain Centre, with sessions tailored to support Long Term Athlete Development stages.

Open to SNSC athletes and visiting racers from other clubs—this is a great opportunity to build fitness, refine technique, and connect with teammates heading into the 2026 season.

A highlight of the summer! Join SNSC athletes, families, and coaches for a fun-filled weekend of biking, beach time, and community on beautiful Hornby Island.

Location: Hornby Island (camping at Brads Dad’s Land)

Who: Devo athletes and families

Cost: Approx. $90 per person

📍 Accommodation

We’ll be camping at:

👉 Brad's Dad's Land Campground

Group sites booked together

Max 8 people per site

Basic amenities (water, washrooms, garbage/recycling)

No power at most sites

Beach access (rocky—bring water shoes!)

Small general store onsite

44th Vancouver Island Loppet 2026 Race Notice

Register for the Vancouver Island Loppet

After assessing course conditions on Mount Washington, the Loppet organizing committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Vancouver Island Loppet. We have been monitoring conditions daily, and continued rain and warm temperatures have significantly deteriorated the course.

As outlined in the race notice, participants may choose one of the following:

1. Receive a refund of their registration fee (minus processing fees)

OR

2. Carry their registration forward as a credit toward next year’s Vancouver Island Loppet.
