TECK COAST CUP #4 and #5 CANCELLED

With the forecasted rain and high temperatures over the next 24 hours and the current conditions up at the mountain, the Race Committee concluded that it will not be possible or safe to hold the Teck Coast Cup event this weekend.

While there is the possibility of some new snow Friday night and lower temperatures the forecasted accumulations (wet snow) are small, there will be no base left in many areas and we cannot predict what things will look like.

Therefore, the Teck Coast Cup races this weekend are cancelled.

Date: February 3 and 4, 2024

Overview: Held at the Nordic area at Mount Washington Alpine Resort (see parking note below)

Saturday, February 3, Teck Coast Cup #4: Team Sprint - Free Technique (Starting at 10 am)

Sunday, February 4, Teck Coast Cup #5: Mass Start - Classic Technique (Starting at 10 am)

Registration: Athlete and Coaches Sign up at Zone 4 .

Coast Cup #3 (Saturday) Team Sprint Relay Registration: Registered coaches to enter teams in Zone 4.

Note: Jackrabbit, Bunnyrabbit, and other Youth Recreation program participants (Youth LTS, F.I.T. and SNAP) skiers will be given a discount fee for free registration.

Volunteers: There are many volunteers needed to help make Teck Coast Cups a success. If you are able to help please send an and email to info@strathconanordics.com

Schedule: An event schedule will be posted on Zone4 by 7pm the night before each race day and will also be available in Raven Lodge the morning of the race. Skiers are grouped by category.

Parking: Parking can be challenging at Raven Lodge. Please allow extra time for parking.
