Strathcona Nordic Ski Club

Membership

Strathcona Nordic Ski Club (SNSC) membership has benefits. On a practical level, membership means you are insured when you participate or volunteer in SNSC winter programs and events, but membership also means that you can take part in SNSC socials, club activities and events all year round. If you have ever attended an SNSC event, you know that you are always in good company!

In the off season, when the snow isn’t flying, the club organizes a variety of all-club run/hikes at various local and regional locations where any club member is welcome! Many SNSC members join the running group or hiking group to explore trails by foot, enjoy the camaraderie of fellow nordic skiers, and get fit for the ski season. We hope to see you out there!

Additionally, membership means :

  • regular club newsletters and communication updates

  • 10% off purchases at Ski Tak Hut and Raven Retail at Mount Washington Nordic

  • a copy of the annual “Ski Cross Country” magazine

  • voting rights at the Club’s Annual General Meeting

  • through CCBC sponsor - $100 Kal Tire coupon

  • supporting cross-country skiing as a sport

  • supporting youth in cross-country skiing

  • discounted gear rental and Nordic trail passes for members participating in recreational programs from Mount Washington Alpine Resort.
