MASTERS: BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE PROGRAMS
These programs are designed for recreational
skiers who wish to improve their skiing techniques (classic
and skating) and fitness through a season long series
of coached sessions. Participants meet once a week on
weekends and are coached by NCCP qualified club coaches.
Both beginner and intermediate masters run in the mornings
concurrent with the Rabbit Program. The beginner group
runs on Sunday mornings and is oriented towards new
skiers who need to learn basic skills. The intermediate
program runs on Saturday mornings and is for established
skiers who wish to improve their technique, fitness,
and exposure to the sport in a fun, social, and group
environment.
Programs start January 5
Beginner Masters - Sundays 10:00 to 12:00
Intermediate Masters - Saturdays 10:00 to 12:00.
SENIOR
& MASTERS RACING TEAMS
"Competitive but not high performance
"
These programs are designed to provide an outlet for
Senior (19+) and Masters (30+) athletes who are interested
in skiing for fitness and competition but have other
life priorities such as school, work, and/or family
obligations. Both summer and winter programs are available.
Local participants will meet twice per week for training
under the supervision of head coach Dave Battison and
club assistant coaches. Individually designed training
programs and extra race support and testing services
are available on a user fee basis. Outreach programs
with individual, year round monitored training plans
are available for remote athletes (i.e. students, etc),
who can't attend weekly group sessions.
