Biathlon is an exciting Nordic sport involving skiing and target shooting. The program has been active at Mt Washington since 1993 and operates out of the biathlon hut at the new expanded range.

"The biathlon program is for youth (age 10 and up) and adult skiers who want to learn about the sport of biathlon and develop basic skills and orientation. The program is presently introductory in scope and non-competitive at this stage. It is activity based with an emphasis on range activities and safety. This program has the potential for growth to provide a competition based component as well. Participants must become members of Biathlon BC and will be expected to participate in range maintenance and development activities. The program is complementary to the coached skiing training available through the other club programs (Devo Team, Jr. Race Team and up)."
